Marysville USD #364 is excited to introduce Dr. Denise Guy as the Interim Superintendent for the 2019-2020 school year.
Dr. Guy comes to us from Abilene, Kansas and is married to JT Guy. She has four daughters: Katie, Kori (Brian), Kurstin and Kendra. She and JT have one granddaughter named Zayda. She was born and raised in Claflin, and has taught or been an administrator in Oberlin (10 yrs), Alma (2 yrs), and Abilene (23 yrs).
Dr. Guy was contacted by KASB and was told she would be a good fit for Marysville as our Interim Superintendent. She already knew Mr. Mullins who retired at the end of June. She says that she knew of our community and appreciated that we are behind the kids. She knew that taking on this new job was the right thing to do.
Her goals are to be a good listener and to help provide the best learning environment for the students and to make great decisions to help them. She is excited to meet all the students and is very happy to be here!
