The parade will begin at 2:00 p m, at 5th and Broadway, turning south on 8th street and ending at the City Park. There will be a Pep Rally immediately following in the stadium.
Crowning will take place before the football game at 6:30 pm in Homer Hanson Stadium.
The Homecoming dance will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the football game vs Clay Center. Be sure to turn in your out of town date forms by Wednesday. The cost of the dance is $5. Students should enter at the main entrance by the High School office and be ready to pass a breathalyzer.
FFA Fishing party will be September 14th at 5:00 p.m.

Any student that would be interested in learning more about the healthcare field and local job opportunities for high school students, should attend a presentation by Jeff Crist on Sept. 11th during AEP in the old gym.
If Students are interested in the CNA Program through Highland, it will not start until 10/9. Please, stop by Ms. Busch's or Mrs. Behrens's office.
Students that are taking concurrent classes from Highland.....deadline to sign up is Sept. 13th!!!
Registration deadline for students interested in taking the ACT Oct. 26th in Marysville is Sept. 20th.
Any Junior interested in taking the PSAT will need to stop by Ms. Busch's Office to sign up. The test date is Oct. 16th.
Community in Schools:
Our Healthy Habits for Life project kicked off this week with dental hygienists Sarah and Hannah from Marysville Dental Care, speaking to students about oral hygiene, brushing basics, and healthy eating habits and how that can impact their overall well-being. All students who attended received a free dental kit! If you are in need of a new toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, or other hygiene products, please see Mrs. Crome!
