JH GBB Tournament @ Nemaha Central - 9am - Depart - 7:15am., JH WR Tournament @ Concordia - 9am - Depart - 6:30am.

FCCLA members who attended the Fall Leadership Conference in Wamego won the Chapter Image Award.  They were amazing and the conference was really good. This is the second time in two years that we have won this award.  Very proud of them! --Mrs. Frazee

 

 

Career Exploration Day will be Nov. 14th: 

Seniors will participate in Senior Mock Interviews

Juniors will attend the Career Fair in Centralia

7-10 will be participating in various career exploration activities.

November 15 is recognized by FBLA-PBL each year as American Enterprise Day. MHS FBLA salutes our local businesses, and we thank them for everything they do to support our community!

The late deadline for the Dec. 14th ACT is Nov. 22nd.  Information is available from Ms. Busch or Mrs. Behrens

Students who are interested in taking any Online classes through Highland can view class availability on the website @   https://highlandcc.edu/pages/hcc-online-course-schedule 

Students who will be taking Concurrent (College credit through Highland) courses in the Spring (Adv. Comp II, Speech, College. Alg., Stats, Physiology) can start to enroll online.  If you have never enrolled through MYHCC you will need to set up an account. Ms. Busch will be meeting with students in the next couple of weeks.

FAFSA should be completed ASAP for students enrolling in post-secondary institutions for 20-21 school year.

NHS induction is Nov. 12th in the Auditorium at 7:00p.m.

Looking for a job???  Marysville Country Club is looking to hire wait staff!!

High School Seniors may participate in the 2019-2020 Rural Voices Youth Contest.  Deadline is December 2, 2019.

Schedules for Spring CNA classes are in Ms. Busch's and Mrs. Behren's Offices.

Students that are taking College Algebra in the Spring and do not have a qualifying score (ACT 21) will need to schedule an Asset test with Ms. Busch

Post-Secondary:

Juniors:  The state of Kansas will be paying for all juniors to take the ACT for free again this year.  It will be given on February 25 during the school. If you are interested you need to stop by and let Mrs. Behrens know to add your name to the list by November 22.  If you do not get your name on the list you will not have this opportunity.

Community in Schools:

  • Contact Mrs. Crome for Blue Valley Giving Tree applications.

  • Small group forms need to be returned to Mrs. Crome ASAP.
