I want to start by THANKING you, our parents! This is not easy for you as parents and we will do everything we can to assure your child has the opportunity to continue to learn as we finish out the school year. We are working hard to find answers to all of your questions.
As we work through the challenges that have been placed in our paths, I can tell you I am so very proud our staff. Our food service staff has put together a plan to handout lunches to our 1 – 18 year old students. Our principals have already met virtually with staff as they begin the process of planning for continuous learning. I believe this will be one of USD 364’s finest hours!
On March 30th, we will begin school again, not face to face, but from a distance. Our teachers will be in contact with their students. We will continue learning until May 14th for seniors and May 21st for all other students.
We are hoping most students will have access to internet, however, if this is not possible we will continue to communicate and deliver instruction in a different way. Please check e-mail, answer phone calls, and check your mail.
[THANK YOU Blue Valley Technologies for working with our district so additional students could gain internet access.]
If your child is on an Individual Learning Plan, your child’s case manager will be reaching out to you before March 30th.
Please continue to encourage your children to be safe.
Dr. Denise Guy, Interim Superintendent of Schools, Marysville USD364
