Sixty-four members of Marysville High School’s Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America competed at the District IV Conference at Rock Hills High School on January 28. Adviser Karen Hynek and English Instructor Jordie Theye accompanied the students.
During the conference, the MHS chapter took part in a variety of competitions including: team presentation events, interview events, impromptu presentation events, public speaking events, graphic design projects, video production projects, and objective testing events.
Forty-six MHS students qualified in forty-one different FBLA events for State competition in April in Topeka.
The following high schools belong to FBLA District IV: Clifton-Clyde, Concordia, Hanover, Linn, Marysville, Pike Valley, Republic County, Rock Hills, Scott City, and Washington County.
