February is CTE (Career and Technical Education) month.  Kansas Career and Technical Education prepares students for a wide range of work, training and educational opportunities.  CTE develops real-world employability skills, connects students to workforce applications, promotes postsecondary degrees and certifications and introduces students to industry partners.  Marysville High School has eight CTE pathways and they are:

  • Audio Visual Communications

  • Biomedical

  • Business Finance

  • Comprehensive Agriculture Science

  • Family, Community & Consumer Services (FACS)

  • Plant Systems

  • Power, Structural & Technical Systems

  • Web & Digital Communications

CTE is learning that works for Kansas.  A big thank you to everyone for supporting our CTE programs!

Community In Schools:

Research shows that missing 10 percent of the school year, or about 18 days in most school districts, negatively affects a student’s academic performance. That’s just two days a month and that’s known as chronic absence.
