Dear Bulldog Family,
We are excited to share with you, KEEP – the Kansas Education Enrichment Program - which provides students from income-qualifying households a $1,000 to spend on eligible goods and services that promote learning and facilitate academic enrichment opportunities.
Families are invited to apply for these funds at www.keep.ks.gov. There is no cost to apply or participate in the program, and parents and guardians can enroll multiple students in the household. The first round of awards will be issued to those who qualify based on applicants whose income is 185% or less of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Families can spend the funds with Qualified Education Service Providers in the online KEEP Marketplace. Approved goods and services include:
Camps with academic subjects
Language classes
Instrument and Vocal lessons, including instrument purchase or rental
Tutoring Services
Curriculum materials, school supplies, and technology
Families that receive awards can manage their funds through the KEEP app, available in app stores for both Android and IOS.
The program is provided by the State of Kansas and funded by the American Rescue Plan Act. Funds are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. We encourage you to visit www.keep.ks.gov to learn more about the program and apply today.
