Grace Turner and Kendall Minneman performed at the 2021 Kansas Bandmasters Association's Middle Level Honor Band on Saturday, July 17 in Wichita. This group is made up of the best musicians in grades 6-8 throughout the state. They have been selected for 3 years in a row. Last year's performance was virtual, and this year's group was condensed, spread out and wore masks and used bell covers for their instruments . Their conductor was the 2020 Grammy Music Educator of the Year, Mickey Smith Jr.
