Subject: Reminder: Safety First During Drop-Off and Pick-Up Dear Parents and Guardians, We want to remind everyone about the importance of safety during drop-off and pick-up times at the elementary school. With so many children arriving and leaving each day, we must work together to keep our students safe. Areas of Concern: Vehicles on the east side heading south need to refrain from trying to pass others in line and be extremely cautious while keeping speeds at an extremely slow rate. Vehicles on the north side need to travel at an extremely slow rate whether heading east or west. In all areas - refrain from parking or stopping in a manner that creates opportunities for traffic to become jammed or come to a halt. (never double-park or block traffic) Here are a few key reminders: Please follow all traffic rules and speed limits around the school grounds. Always use crosswalks when walking with your child. Avoid parking in areas marked for buses or emergency vehicles. Be extra cautious as children are walking near vehicles and on side streets. The district has asked our local police department to increase visibility around the school during these times to reinforce the importance of safe driving practices. Your cooperation is essential in ensuring the safety of all students. Thank you for your ongoing support and for helping make our school community a safe place for everyone. Go Bulldogs!
